The Decision Triangle Solutions method creates a Win-Win to the conflict resolution using reciprocal, accurate, and balanced perspective-taking.  Analyze your interaction based on all three dimensions:

1. Reciprocal:  Do you and the other person take turns listening to each other (as opposed to just waiting your turn to talk again)?

2. Accurate: Do you check to make sure you are expressing yourself truly accurately (from your own perspective) and are you really hearing the other person without filters or distortions?

3. Balance: Do both of you feel sufficiently listened to by the other?  Do you take in as much as you express?  Is there a 50-50 balance in this interaction?
