Stage 5: Reconcile the Differences
If the previous steps are done sufficiently well, this step will be the easiest. At this point, it should be straight-forward what is the best way to resolve the conflict. However, you should also keep in mind:

Short term v. long term benefits

Outside influences
-
Emotional pressures (such as anxiety, depression, anger, and compulsive urges)
-
Unhealthy influences (such as addiction or other self destructive behavior)
